Golden Eights

Jim, Geordie and Ivan return from V4 Vengeance, this time as members of a special operations unit working under the British Prime Minister's private direction. Their assignment is to locate a huge cache of gold that Winston Churchill concealed during the Second World War. Once found, the gold must go to its lawful owner, the Bank of England, and the British economy depends on it.

The job is harder than it sounds. Every clue, legend and known fact about the hoard lives only in the memories of elderly soldiers who have kept the secret for decades. When news of the operation leaks, dangerous groups begin pursuing the treasure for themselves and will not be stopped by anything.

With little time to spare, the three men comb the British countryside, checking barns, caves, railway tunnels and old churches that Churchill's Secret Army has guarded for years. Each hiding place they reach must be searched before the gold can fall into the wrong hands.
