Goodbye Hideout

Betrayed, Ann Williams bolted into Cherokee Territory where prejudice against the encroaching whites was only a smidgeon safer than Joe Smith, the bounty hunter on their trail. More likely to be massacred than given a chance to beg for help, Ann clutched her newborn son to her chest. She, Noah Swift Hawk, and their family fled toward the village of War Woman Kangee. If the residents don’t butcher them, prairie nights exposed to the elements will freeze the tiny baby. Will the family avoid Cherokee hostility? Will Joe Smith find them? Who will survive the frantic escape?
