Gravity Falls: Lost Legends

Gravity Falls: Lost Legends is a graphic novel collection of four new stories set in the strange town from Alex Hirsch's animated series. The tales are narrated by Shmebulock, a gnome under a curse that lets him say only his own name, apart from one night every thousand years. This is that night, and he uses it to tell what never made it to the screen.

In the first story, Pacifica summons a monster, and it ends up stealing Mabel's face. In the second, Stan is pulled into a world made of comics and has to find his way out. In the third, Mabel is dragged into a multiverse crowded with other versions of herself. The last story goes back in time to follow a young Stan and Ford, who set out to catch a supernatural jewel thief.

The book keeps the series' trademark mix of cryptic codes, jokes and heartfelt moments, and a different group of artists illustrates each story. Fans of the show will find new adventures with familiar characters, and readers who have never watched it can still pick up the stories and enjoy them.
