About This Book
The story begins in 2002 on Ikaria, the Greek island famous for the long lives of its people. The fisherman Thimios and his resilient wife, Marika, unexpectedly have identical triplets, whom they name Icaros, Dedalos and Poseidon. The brothers grow up handsome and strong, and with plenty of experience in love. They marry three sisters who follow a different religion from their own, and their father-in-law becomes convinced that his daughters have been abducted. Events carry the triplets onward. Using memory techniques, they earn money in casinos, and they eventually land on a ranch in Argentina. There they meet extraterrestrial beings with extraordinary abilities, who help them escape hired killers and show them where a valuable vein of gold lies. The search for the gold collides with a sinister plot by exiled German ex-Nazi generals in Argentina, who are preparing for a Third World War. The brothers and their alien allies set out to stop this new threat. Their journey takes them through the Amazon, where tribal communities celebrate them as heroes. The story reaches its climax on a new planet populated only by ageless, sexually deprived and beautiful women. The triplets work to uncover the secret of the women's elixir of life, and they find a paradise of dinosaurs, where they face both danger and desire. The novel mixes romance, adventure and science fiction across several worlds, and it explores love, courage and discovery.
