Harmonic measure

Harmonic measure in the complex plane has seen a burst of discoveries over the last twenty years, and this volume gathers many of them in one place. Work by Bishop, Carleson, Jones, Makarov, Wolff and several others is presented here, and much of it appears in print for the first time in paperback.

The text is aimed at students who have finished standard graduate courses in real and complex analysis. Its first four chapters build the necessary foundations in univalent functions, potential theory and extremal length. Each chapter closes with a substantial set of exercises meant to deepen understanding and reinforce the material.
