Hart

Hart is pulled between two halves of herself. Her family and kingdom expect her to marry and fill the role that is hers, and she feels bound to do so. At the same time, she has long guarded the forest of Cinnabar, a duty that only she has been judged capable of carrying out.

Seeking counsel from a mystic hag, Hart receives prophetic messages and hard truths, and learns that she must confront her fears, including a dragon that dwells in the deepest part of her subconscious. As danger closes in and larger prophecies come into play, she must reconcile the divide within her if she hopes to save the forest and the kingdom. Will she rise or fall against the odds? Can she bear this burden alone, as she must, and will Cinnabar be lost forever?
