Hello, Beautiful

Hello, Beautiful is a picture book written as a tender message from a caregiver to a child. It welcomes a new baby with warmth and hope, and speaks to the courage it takes to grow into a bold, confident life.

The lyrical text encourages children to claim their place in the world and to walk their own paths. It also asks them to look for the humanity in the people around them and, above all, in themselves. That recognition, the book suggests, is where beauty lives.

Traci N. Todd wrote the book, and Loveis Wise illustrated it. It suits bedtime reading and gift-giving for new babies and young children.
