Hello Darkness #20

Hello Darkness #20 is an issue of a horror anthology comic, gathering several short, unsettling stories that are best not read right before bed. This one has three tales from three different creative teams.

Sam Humphries and artist Eleonora Carlini bring their story "Cassie" to a close in Part III. It follows an all-girl baseball team made up of Satanists, and this chapter plays out as the last inning of the whole game, set in the deepest level of hell. In "Away Message," Jorge Corona, known for his work on Transformers, follows a man who only wanted to disappear from the world for a while and ends up facing his own personal end of the world.

The issue ends with "The Thread" by Lauren Knight, where an ordinary grooming routine turns into something so gruesome that readers may lose their appetite for days.
