Highest Ambitions

Nightminster wanders a lawless, post-apocalyptic Britain that has been wrecked by a catastrophic collapse of the financial system. Where others see only hardship, he sees opportunity, since to him any hazard is simply a way to make money.

He has overlooked one thing: revolutionaries are gathering to overthrow the ruling caste and its unjust privileges. Nightminster must decide whether to side with them, oppose them, or try to do both. As he fights for his life and for love, his ambitions keep growing. His only real chance of survival is to become wealthy enough to be beyond the reach of anyone who wants him dead.

Set in 2072 and 2073, the book is part of Sovereigns of the Storm, a two-part dystopian series about a dark age on the horizon. It is not suitable for readers under 16.
