Hottie

Alison Coles has the high school life most people would envy. She is stunning, she is seeing a charming surfer, and she has just won the job of freshman class president at Beverly Hills High. A routine appointment at a symmetry clinic changes everything when a bolt of lightning strikes her. She wakes up as Hottie, a dazzling superhero who can blast fire from her fingertips.

The transformation earns her more suspicion than applause. Classmates treat her as a freak who plays with fire, and she is stuck with David Eels, a nerdy boy who insists on becoming her crime-fighting partner. Her love life gets more complicated too. She is starting to like T. Hull, the junior class president of Cuteness, who also dreams of being a firefighter and wants nothing more than to put out her flames for good.

While Alison struggles to fit her new powers into her old life, a supervillain is quietly plotting in the background. Can Hottie handle the danger, or has she finally met her match?
