Housewarming

Step into O'Mara's, a guesthouse on the Green run by Mammy and her daughters, who take in every guest as though they were family. Expect plenty of storytelling, a little romance and a good deal of laughter.

Aisling O'Mara is married to a man who bears a resemblance to Ronan Keating. He is no singer, but he is devoted to her. Their life would feel complete if they could start a family, and Aisling's wish for a child grows more urgent with every passing year. She is determined to make it happen, though the reader may wonder what she is prepared to risk to get there.

Ita Finnegan, the Director of Housekeeping at O'Mara's, wants to be happy. She has concluded that finding love is the way to get there, and she has come up with a plan to meet the right man. Still, it is hard to believe someone could love her when she has so little regard for herself.

Mammy O'Mara meant to host a small get-together with neighbours and relatives so that she and Donal could introduce themselves to the area. That modest gathering has grown into a major event at Howth House, and everyone is invited.
