How to Solve a Problem

How to Solve a Problem is the autobiography of Ashima Shiraishi, a young female climber who is described as the world's best and youngest. In it she tells how she worked her way through one of the hardest climbs of her career, which she completed at the age of 13.

Throughout the book she draws on moments from her own life as she explains how she approached that climb. The result is a philosophy of life as much as a climbing story, and a guide for anyone facing a difficult problem.
