Human Cytogenetics

This two-volume work examines how chromosomes, including their shape, makeup and conduct during cell division, relate to heritable characteristics. The first volume, Human Constitutional Analysis, addresses the full range of standard human cytogenetic investigation, leaving out cancers and abnormalities that arise during life. The second volume, Human Malignant and Acquired Abnormalities, sets out the methods researchers use to show how rearranged chromosomes can give rise to tumours.
