Humans

Brandon Stanton started Humans of New York in 2010 as a photographic record of the people living in New York City. It grew into a storytelling project that millions of people around the world follow every day. Over the following years, Stanton extended his lens far beyond the city, meeting people in more than forty countries and talking with them across continents, national borders, and language barriers. This book gathers those journeys in one place. Each page introduces a new face and a new setting, yet the stories often feel recognizable no matter where they were told. Delivered with frankness and closeness, the collection is meant for readers everywhere and offers a portrait of what people have in common.
