Illustrators 50

The fiftieth edition of the Society of Illustrators' yearly collection follows the format introduced in the previous edition, gathering the year's strongest illustration work. The layout was designed by D.J. Stout of Pentagram.

Alongside the artwork, the book records what drove each illustrator. The contributors explain both their methods and their motivations, so the volume works as an accessible account of how leading working illustrators approach their craft, not just a gallery of images.
