Illustrators 52

Illustrators 52 is the fifty-second yearly anthology put together by the Society of Illustrators. It gathers illustrations from the past year and pairs them with commentary in which each artist explains the thinking behind their image.

The selection covers a broad range of work: book design, advertising, comics and sequential art, and illustrations made without a client commission. Together, the pieces give a picture of where the field stood in that year.
