Innocent Fire

Miranda has spent her life in the quiet walls of a French convent, but she now crosses the ocean to the New World to wed a wealthy Texas rancher she has never met. On arrival, she is placed under the care of her intended's friend, Derek Bragg, a blunt Texas Ranger. His plainspoken remarks about her looks infuriate the reserved young woman.

Bragg tries hard to ignore his growing feelings for the girl in his charge, but he realizes he is falling in love with her anyway. Miranda, meanwhile, finds herself battling her own longing for the man who guides her through the dangerous wilderness.

This historical romance is the first book in the Bragg Saga, a series of linked novels that follow the Bragg family.
