Insquidious Devotion

Sloane Beaumont runs a private investigation firm with his husband, Loch, and the two are also raising a tiny demigoddess, which keeps their household busy. Loch's tentacles add to the workload. Even so, the couple still has to protect the world from catastrophe, yet again.

On the way to a puzzling crime scene, Sloane and Loch are ambushed by an ancient deity named Cleus. This is only the latest in a string of apocalyptic threats, and the pattern is no accident. Some people simply enjoy watching chaos unfold, but a group of local cultists is working to ignite it for real. If their scheme to rouse an evil god succeeds, they will get exactly what they want.

People are drowning under strange magical circumstances, and the news that the old gods are real has thrown the public into panic. Sloane and Loch must recruit their friends, their family, and a questionable local gangster to uncover the truth and stop the new dangers. The greatest threat, however, may come from a direction they never anticipated.
