About this book
Summer Graham has built her life around people. She works as an admissions recruiter at a university, keeps a busy social circle, and loves spontaneous adventures. Long-term commitment, however, is not something she is looking for, though she could likely point a friend toward someone who is.
Brock McMillan is her opposite in many ways. He pushes himself toward flawless results, takes his role as a devoted older brother seriously, and gets real satisfaction from helping students win college scholarships at the same university. He also seems to disagree with Summer about nearly everything that happens in their office, though he never intends to.
Their clashing views extend to their workspaces. Brock's office is spare and rational, which Summer finds stifling, while her own space is lively, playful and creative, which Brock considers chaotic. When the Welcome Center at their university reluctantly pairs them to run Aquamoose Tracks, a large overnight event, both expect a difficult partnership. The night is mostly games and entertainment with a healthy amount of useful information mixed in, but neither believes they can spend that much time together and come out unscathed. Falling in love is the last thing either one anticipates.
