Jasper Vale

Eloise Eden loves her family's hotel in Quincy, Montana, and her lifelong dream is to own The Eloise Inn. To get it, she only has to convince her parents that she is truly responsible and that her days of being taken advantage of and making reckless choices are behind her. She is very close to winning them over.

Then she spends a weekend in Las Vegas and comes home married to a stranger. Jasper has some kind of spell over her, with those soul-deep eyes, because after one night together they woke up as husband and wife. Her plan is to keep the marriage secret until it can be annulled, then act as though it never happened.

Jasper has other ideas. He begs her to stay married and pretend for three months so that she can go with him to a wedding. Agreeing might be a lapse in judgment, but her brooding husband seems truly desperate, and it is only three months. After that she will say goodbye to Jasper Vale and, with any luck, hello to her new hotel.
