June 9th

College student Lacey Shyver has spent her whole life wary of men's hands. She is a serious science student who uses a wheelchair, and she keeps her attention on astronomy, mathematics, and physics instead of dating. That changes when drummer Blake Nivey touches her shoulder. The contact stirs feelings she had no idea she could have, and she finds herself wanting more with every encounter.

Blake may be the man who finally makes her feel safe, or he may be the worst danger she has faced. Lacey cannot tell whether his attention is sincere or part of a web of games and deceptions. The more she falls for him, the more she depends on him to rescue her, which makes the uncertainty harder to bear.

Lacey has to uncover the truth before time runs out. The story is built on the idea that once June 9th arrives, nothing will be the same again.
