Just Fix This!

Just Fix This! is an early reader about tools. It explains that people invent and improve tools to solve problems, and that a tool's shape helps it do its job. Readers look at a range of jobs, big and small, and decide which tool is just right for each task.

The text is fully decodable. It uses high-frequency words and words containing the j, v and x sounds, which makes it suited to children learning to read.

The book also offers tips for teachers and caregivers, and closes with extra information to build the reader's background knowledge of the topic. Downloadable Teacher Notes are available.
