Justin Case

Before fourth grade can begin, Justin has to get through the summer. Each day he boards a bus bound for camp, where he meets a steady stream of unfamiliar things: insects, cafeteria meals that are hard to stomach, flip-flops that pinch between the toes and make walking awkward, and the dreaded prospect of swimming. His younger sister, Elizabeth, takes to camp without any trouble, and so do his friends.

Justin, though, is working to leave behind his habit of fretting, particularly when it comes to finding friends at camp. One newcomer seems a bit rough around the edges, which makes things harder. With fourth grade just around the corner, Justin keeps telling himself it is time to act bold.
