K. R. E. W.

The idea at the heart of this story has already been sold. Once a corporation acquires such ideas, it decides which ones to pursue, and this one moves forward.

Zack Mulholland leads a team of rare, one-of-a-kind people brought together for a single purpose: building a system to dispose of toxic waste and safeguard the future water supply of Planet Earth. The work is on a tight schedule, and the clock matters.

The story asks what the members of K.R.E.W. will pay for this effort, what they stand to gain, and what setbacks they will face along the way.
