Killer WASPs

Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, is a community of well-off WASP families on the East Coast, where the calendar revolves around tennis matches and drinks at the country club. Residents in pastel Lilly Pulitzer outfits like it that way, and nothing much disturbs the peace. That changes when Kristin Clark, who runs an antiques shop, and her chubby basset hound find the town's newest real estate developer unconscious among the hydrangeas along the driveway of a grand estate. Gossip spreads quickly, and it spreads faster after a second attack only days later.

Kristin soon has help from three close friends. Holly is a glamorous heiress to a chicken nugget fortune who cares deeply about high fashion. Joe is an interior decorator hoping to land his own HGTV program. Bootsie is a preppy but inquisitive newspaper reporter. Together they set out to find the attacker before another person is hurt, and their search leads them through cocktail parties, flea markets and the country club.
