King Puck

Seamus, a farmer in Ireland, and his goat Finny set out for King Puck Festival, the country's oldest and most unusual fair, in pursuit of a rare opportunity. Along the way the pair are drawn into the festival's music, dancing, and fun, with a touch of fairy magic running through the tale.

Readers can search for fairies tucked into each of the bright illustrations, which turns the story of friendship and adventure into a game of spotting. The pictures show the lush Irish countryside and the friendly, cheerful character of its people.

Michael Garland wrote and illustrated the book. He was named one of the Top 100 Irish Americans by Irish America magazine.
