Langdimania

Is Langdimania a real place, or a country that exists only inside the mind of Army, a twelve-year-old boy? The novel leaves that question open as it follows him through a run of unusual events. He moves back and forth between two worlds, learns about time from a pig that can talk, and tries to rescue a girl who hovers above the ground while facing imminent danger. Army also has his sights set on the lead role in his school musical.

Readers follow Army as he works to make sense of all this, while he also copes with the everyday ups and downs of junior high school.

The book is the first novel from Lach, an award-winning writer who also stars in BBC Radio 4's The Lach Chronicles.
