Leaves!

Autumn has arrived, and the front yard is buried under leaves in every colour. Their father asks Sidney and Alex to gather them all, a chore nobody would call exciting. Then the siblings discover a fancy new leaf blower in the garage, and the job suddenly looks like something worth trying out.

This picture book is by Robert Munsch, a well-known children's author, and it is illustrated by Michael Martchenko. Readers already familiar with Munsch's humorous style and those discovering his stories for the first time should both find it an easy, entertaining read.
