Left for Dead

Special Operative Eric Steele is back in the field to face a splinter group of biological terrorists who have a deadly virus in their hands. This is the fourth military thriller from Sean Parnell, a New York Times bestselling author whose earlier work includes Outlaw Platoon.

The story opens on a remote mountaintop in western China, where Dr. Ai Liang and her research team are preparing to defy the Chinese Communist Party. Together they have engineered a new virus, Gantu-62, that is even more lethal than COVID-19 and can kill a person within minutes. Ai has come to believe she must destroy it before it can threaten millions of lives. Just as she is about to tell her colleagues why she has changed her mind, a group of violent commandos storms the lab, kills everyone inside, and escapes with the virus.

Steele has been sent on a cleanup mission to take revenge on the group responsible for killing many Alpha operatives and forcing the Program to disband.
