Leopard's Hunt

Gorya Amurov is the one his family counts on to keep the peace. Inside him, though, the leopard strains to break loose and let chaos run. A brutal past has made him a ruthless fighter who shows the world a steady face, but he knows his grip on himself will not hold forever. He has come to believe he would be better off dead, and that no woman could ever accept him as a mate.

Maya Averina has spent years tracking down the criminals who wrecked her life, and she has never let a target get away. She works alone, avoids attention, and keeps her focus sharp. Then her first heat arrives. With her body running hot and her thoughts scattered, she is caught in an ambush she should have seen coming.

Now Maya is a captive, an unmated female shifter about to be sold to whoever pays the most. She is prepared to fight her way free on her own. Before she can, a man more powerful and more dangerous than anyone she has met comes to get her out.

Leopard's Hunt is part of Christine Feehan's Leopard series of paranormal romance. It pairs two elite shifters whose instincts pull them together while their stubborn minds resist.
