Lethal Connections

Just beyond New Orleans, in a quiet parish where killings are not unheard of, Sergeant Lance Knight is juggling a stack of homicide files that remain open. On paper the dead have little in common: an investment banker, an attorney, and a local politician, men who move in entirely different social worlds. Lance has yet to find anything that ties them together.

With coroner Gina Goodwin, he begins to uncover a pattern hidden in three unrelated details the victims share. The open question is whether these deaths are coincidence or the work of something more deliberate. As Lance closes in on the person responsible, the situation escalates quickly, and he must solve the puzzle before time runs out.
