Lifetime

Illustrations and text provide number-related facts about the lives of a variety of animals, such as the number of antlers a caribou will grow and shed in a lifetime and how many spots an adult giraffe will have. A counting primer that combines contrasting illustrations with animal facts, inviting young children to count a woodpecker's 30 roosting holes, a giraffe's 200 spots, and 1000 baby seahorses.
