Lion

A collection of 150 stunning illustrations of lions by one of the most famous wildlife painters working today Lion follows internationally collected artist Mark Adlington’s three-year mission to find lions in six different habitats across East and Southern Africa. The resulting body of work, including paintings, drawings, and sketchbooks, represents months of patient waiting, observation, and interactions that gave the artist new insight into these most beautiful of big cats. With written contributions from frontline lion conservationists, without whose help and support the project would have been impossible, this book will delight and inform art and nature lovers alike.
