Llama Llama Easter Egg

On Easter morning, Llama Llama wakes up wondering what the day has in store. The Easter Bunny has been busy, and the answer turns out to be a basketful of good things: jelly beans, brightly colored eggs, and one soft, fluffy surprise.

This is a board book in Anna Dewdney's Llama Llama series, told in short, bouncy rhymes that are easy to read aloud again and again. The charming illustrations carry the springtime mood, and the small size and sturdy pages are made for toddlers to hold, flip and chew on without much harm.

It works as a first taste of reading for very young children who are not yet ready for longer stories, and it makes a cheerful little extra to tuck into an Easter basket.
