Local Hero

Laura Robertson, a paramedic, has resolved to start over somewhere new, putting distance between herself and her small hometown and the painful history she has left behind. Her plans shift when her ex-husband, Fraser McCloud, reappears in her life. Fraser is a firefighter who is used to being the one who rides to the rescue, so depending on anyone sits badly with him. When a hurt ankle and a sudden need for childcare leave him no choice, he has to accept help, and Laura is the one who steps in.
