Mabon

This book looks at Mabon, the festival of the autumn equinox, and how Wiccan and Pagan communities observe it. It explains the sacred traditions surrounding the celebration so readers can understand what the day means within those practices.

Readers may be practicing Wiccans looking for a companion to the year's sacred celebrations, or newcomers who have heard of Mabon and want to understand it from a Wiccan perspective. It also suits anyone who wants to celebrate in a contemporary way without losing the rituals and understandings that give the festival its meaning.

With so many observances across the calendar, the rites, rituals and symbols attached to each holiday are easy to mix up, whether a reader is just starting out or has practiced for years. The book is meant to help readers keep those details straight and take part in the festivities fully.
