Make & Play Restaurant

Young makers are invited to imagine, design, and build their own take on a restaurant. The project draws on four makerspace strengths: finding inspiration, using imagination, working with others, and solving problems as they arise. Full-color pictures and sidebars sit alongside prompts and practical tips that encourage hands-on creativity. Along the way, readers pick up foundational skills they can carry into later projects. The book is aligned with Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards. It is published by Super Sandcastle, an imprint of Abdo Publishing, a division of ABDO.
