When Blair moves to town as the new kid, the two girls quickly become close. Blair is easygoing, a good listener, and a welcome escape from the tension Rosie feels at home.
Rosie decides Blair is the answer to her problems with her dad, and she even hopes Blair might become the racquetball star her father has always wanted. Blair sees things differently. Blair wants to show Rosie that, with a friend at her side, she can hold her own against both her father and the sport.
