Jake opens his eyes in an unfamiliar place where children float above the ground and speak freely with Jesus. All around him, young ones hurry to welcome relatives who have arrived to join them.

Jake soon understands that he is in heaven, but he cannot stop thinking about his sister, Ruthi, and his parents, who must be missing him. He wants a way to tell them he is safe. The story asks whether he will find a way to reach them.
