Micah

Holly has survived a violent marriage, and her abusive husband is no longer part of her life. She carries the scars of what she went through, but she got herself out on her own terms. Micah, a huge, reserved man of few words, has long wondered how to earn the trust of someone so much smaller than him, and the task seems hopeless. A sudden turn of events, marked by fire, gives him the opening he has been waiting for. Holly ends up under his roof, and Micah, narrating in the first person, is determined to make her want to stay. The story centres on the moment she grasps how much power she holds over him, and it promises a heated romance to follow.
