Mice Templar

Karic is a young mouse whose family has been enslaved, and whose people live under the boot of rat rulers. His plan is to bring back the Mice Templar, a band of legendary protectors. The order has fallen apart in a bitter civil war, its knights no longer trust one another, and the mice they once guarded now look down on them. Everything depends on one small mouse finding the nerve and strength to take up the Templar's sword himself.

This fantasy graphic novel, written by Bryan J. L. Glass and illustrated by Michael Avon Oeming, follows that quest through a world of anthropomorphic animals. It is the first book in the Mice Templar series and suits adult readers.
