Midnight Crystal

Midnight Crystal closes out the Dreamlight trilogy, a linked set of novels that Jayne Ann Krentz wrote under three of her names: Krentz, Amanda Quick and Jayne Castle. This final volume is Castle's, and it is set on Harmony, a far-future world. There the old troubles of the Arcane Society's founding have finally caught up with one family.

For centuries, the Winters family has lived under a curse that traces back to the Arcane Society's turbulent beginnings. Adam Winters, who leads the ghost hunters guild, is the man best placed to put an end to it. He is joined by Marlowe Jones, a gifted reader of dreamlight. Together they have to solve the last mystery behind the curse and protect Harmony's underworld from the fallout. Standing in their way is an attraction between them that threatens to destroy them both.
