Midwest Gothic

This poetry collection won the 2019 Richard Snyder Memorial Publication Prize. Its title points to a blend of Midwestern setting and gothic mood, and the poems move through the ordinary details of everyday life with a sense of unease. The book is written for readers who enjoy poems that ask for close attention and reward it with unexpected images.
