Monogamy

Annie, a photographer, is about to open a gallery show when her husband of thirty years dies suddenly. He is Graham, a bookseller in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The loss throws her life off course, and she tries to gather up the pieces while still preparing for the biggest professional moment she has had in years.

Her grief then takes a darker turn. As she sorts through what Graham left behind, she finds harrowing evidence that he had been having an affair. The novel follows a long marriage and the mourning that comes after it, as Annie is forced to look again at the man she thought she knew.
