Monopolove

Harper Sloane has a firm belief that money cannot fix everything. When the game shop she runs with her sister and closest friend, Love & Games, starts to founder, she passes on the quick fix of cashing the checks her largely absent father keeps sending. Instead, she enters the city's Monopoly tournament and hopes to win her way out of trouble.

Declan Wilde is a doctor who has just moved to town and is determined to balance his own moral ledger. He covers Harper's coffee, which mortifies her, so she repays him with interest to show she wants no handouts. Then he signs up for the tournament at her shop, and turning away a customer who wants to play is not really an option.

The two are forced to meet at every practice session, and their friction begins to feel like a contest that extends beyond the game board. As they work out strategies together, the question is whether they are simply rivals locked in a match or whether something more is taking shape between them.
