Moongphali

Nandu has his heart set on going to the school fancy-dress competition as a king, but his mother sends him off in a silly watermelon costume. Dolly and Sunny are happy genius twins until they wish for clones. Poonam finds the perfect pair of blue and white slippers, only to learn they belong to someone else. Sher and Samandar are the best of friends until a strange piece of rock turns them into sworn enemies.

Moongphali brings together these stories and many more about children from across India. They are funny, adventurous, clever and mischievous. They speak different languages, eat different foods and live in homes that look nothing alike, yet every reader is likely to spot a little of themselves in them.

The collection is meant for sharing, so that parents can enjoy the stories with their kids and remember their own childhoods along the way.
