More Tricks

The Mad Dogs have been dealt with, and the narrator, known as Tricks, now turns to the rival they have fought longest: the De León Cartel. The Mad Dogs will not be coming back, but the organization behind them is only wounded, and two rival groups remain, each tougher than the last.

Tricks and Diego De León have never been on friendly terms. For years, each has looked for a way to eliminate the other, and now Tricks has a personal reason to bring down De León's operation. Recent clashes have left both sides bruised, which gives Tricks time to refine a scheme. The job is too large for a second chance, so every member of the crew must play a role, and Tricks is calling in favors to learn who is still loyal in the struggle for control of New York's underworld.

Nothing is ruled out. This time the crew is willing to back unconventional plans, because they know they can only win by standing together. The book closes with a warning to New York that Tricks is on the way.
