Mountain Rose

Norah Hess, the author of the award-winning Kentucky Bride, returns with a frontier love story full of heat and energy. Chase Donlin gets a letter from his stepsister, who is dying in Idaho and asks him to look after her daughter. He expects a child, but the girl he finds, Raegan, has grown into a young woman, and every moment near her stirs a desire Chase cannot ignore. How can he serve as her guardian under those circumstances?

Chase takes Raegan with him into the harsh, thinly settled hills of Oregon, where he makes his living as a trapper. She is innocent and trusts him completely, and that trust makes his struggle harder. Chase must decide whether he can keep his sense of honor while also giving in to the longing he feels for her.
