Muniya’s Quest

Muniya is stunned to learn that Abbu is not her real father. He found her abandoned on a train when she was a baby. Determined to trace the parents she has never known, she sets out and ends up in the village of Vishnupur.

There she befriends Gopi, an inventor with a whole arsenal of gadgets, and Aaliya, a kind-hearted, talkative animal rescuer. The three discover that the only person who can say who Muniya's mother is, is a mysterious man named Manik Ghosh, so they must find him.

Their search takes them by bus and train across the countryside, where they meet all sorts of people and animals: a conman magician, ruthless poachers, a thief with a heart of gold and a frightened pangolin. Will they find Manik Ghosh and Muniya's parents? And what will become of the pangolin now in their care?

This is an adventure full of eccentric characters and warm moments, about friendship, unexpected connections and love that lasts.
