My Tiny Giant

Stationed on the distant world of Tragul, the narrator is paired with Lieutenant Agan Drankai, who, by her account, is the most arrogant man in the entire army of Ravie. After she saves his life in battle, he makes it clear he does not want a small woman as his partner. When the two are cut off from their unit, they are seized and taken to a hidden laboratory that is supposedly run by their own allies. There, a rogue scientist subjects Agan to an illegal experiment that leaves him so small he fits in her palm. The formidable lieutenant must now depend on the woman he once dismissed to get him back to base, and the safest way to carry him is tucked inside her bra. His shrinking has done nothing to dent his ego, though his confidence, bravery and loyalty remain intact. As she gets to know him better, the narrator finds his tiny self growing on her. The book asks how much size really matters, and whether it matters at all.
